Chardham Yatra from Delhi 11 Nights

Day 01: Haridwar :

Our representative will be available to greet you at the Delhi stop from where you will be taken to Haridwar, one of the most ancient holiest cities in Uttarakhand state.

You have an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Barkot :

You will start your day with a bath in the Holy Ganges, seeking blessings for a prosperous Chardham Yatra. Post refreshment you will get your breakfast and then leave for Barkot via Dehradun and Mussoorie enroute to Sahastradhara, Robert’s Cave & Kempty fall.

Upon your arrival in Barkot you will check in at the hotel and spend your rest of the day at leisure after a long tiring drive.

Overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 03: Yamunotri :

Situated amidst of Garhwal Himalayas, Yamunotri is the source of the River Yamuna which is worshipped as Goddess Yamuna.

In the morning of your day three, you will leave for Janki Chatti which is trekking route to Yamunotri via Hanuman Chatti and Phool Chatti. On your arrival in Yamunotri, you can (or choose to not) take a holi dip in Garam Kund (hot spring), offer prayers and Darshan. Post the rituals you will head back to Janki Chatti via same path and leave for Barkot.

Day 04: Uttarkashi :

Uttarkashi is one of the most important tourist destinations in Uttarakhand. It is a rugged terrain which is surrounded by the Himachal Pradesh and Tibet (partially.)

You will be visiting Kashi Vishwanath temple – the ancient and most famous temple in Uttarkashi. This temple is often equated as the Kashi temple in Varanasi. People visit this temple the most during the Magh Mela to take a dip in the water of Baghirathi which flows by the side of the town.

Day 05: Gangotri :

Gangotri is located at an altitude of 3100m on the banks of Bhagirathi River. It is considered as the starting point of River Ganga.

With a packed breakfast and post tea or coffee session you will leave for Gangotri, early in the morning. You will offer your prayer and darshan in Gangotri which is worshipped as Goddess Ganga in Hindu culture.

Later in the day you will drive back to Uttrakashi enroute visit to Gangnani and Harsil.

You have an overnight stay at Uttarakashi.

Day 06: Guptkashi :

Guptkashi is famous for its ancient temples. One of the most famous temples at this place is Vishwanath temple and Ardhnareshwar temple. Guptkashi is named after Lord Shiva.

You will leave early in the morning of your sixth day of Char Dham tour. With packed breakfast and refreshment, you have a long drive to Sitapur via Guptkashi, encompassing mountain region. You will also be passing by the Tehri Dam (The Hydro Electric Project).

You have an overnight stay at Sitapur/Guptkashi.

Day 07: Gaurikund and Kedarnath :

Gaurikund is a town where the trek to Kedarnath begins. It is approximately 34 km away from Guptkashi.

You will drive to Sonprayag to Gaurikund on your seventh day. Upon your arrival to Gaurikund, you will begin your trekking to Kedarnath.

Kedarnath temple is devoted to Lord Shiva. Located on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini River, Kedarnath has an elevation of 3553m. Once reached the entrance of the temple, you will get ready for the Pooja rituals and Darshan of Lord Kedarnath.

You have an overnight stay in Kedarnat in the camps and huts provided by the government.

Day 08: Sitapur :

After a long and tiring trek to Kedarnath, keeping your health in mind we will keep a day off for you. Regain your energy from tiresome trek to further proceed for the next trek to Badirnath.

In Sitapur you have an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 09: Badrinath :

A small town in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state, Badrinath is devoted to Vishnu and is considered to be one of the most important pilgrim visits in Char Dham Yatra. After your breakfast you will begin your journey to Badrinath via Joshimanth (covering Narsimha Temple and Sankaracharaya Math.)

Upon arrival to Badrinath you will offer your prayers to Lord Vishnu in the evening Darshan.

An overnight stay at Badrinath.

Day 10: Joshimath :

You will leave early morning for a bath in Taptkund (hot spring) and Darshan of Badri Vishal. Besides Badrinath, you will also visit other significant places such as Brahamakapal, Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the Mukh of the Saraswati River.

Joshimath is within three kilometres of Badrinath on the slopes of above the confluence of the rivers Alaknanda and Dhauliganga, which is one of the four pilgrims established by Adi Shankaracharya.

Day 11: Deoprayag :

Post your breakfast, you will drive to Hardwar enroute visits to Deoprayag, Rishikesh (Ram Jhula & Laxman Jhula and Gita Mandir.)

You will attend Sandhya Aarti at Har-ki-Pori in the evening post your sightseeing session of the nearby local places.

Overnight stay in the Haridwar.

Day 12: Delhi :

Once after your refreshment you will drive back to Delhi. Keeping your time and return schedule, you will be covering must visits in Delhi, such as Qutab Minar, India Gate and the grand government buildings; the President’s House, Red fort, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial and also a visit to Laxmi Narayan Temple popularly known as Birla Temple.

You will depart as per your scheduled departure in the evening to the Airport or railway station.
